My birthday

So this has nothing to do with my career, but its a Saturday, I’ve already been to work today, so I think it’s fair I get the rest of the day to do what I want to do.

Its my birthday in less than a weeks time and I have no idea what I’m doing, I haven’t asked any one for anything because I hate doing that. It feels so cheeky. ” Give me this, I want this…” I hate that.

Added to the discomfort I feel about being “give me give me give me…” there’s also the horrible issue of where do you pitch what you ask for? How much do people want to spend? Where do they want to go to get it? I am going to be 22 after all and I think after 21 people only really bother with big birthdays (30, 40, 50, 60) so should I just ask for £20 in an envelope.

Dad suggested that I have the transport to this festival as I haven’t got anything else at the moment. That would be fine if I was really excited about going to this festival but at the moment I’m not really that interested. If I could take my car I would but its broken at the moment and it wont fit all the people in it. I’d take the train but Tom doesn’t do public transport. (Then he should take his own car)

I’ve looked at one of these lensbaby creative lenses because I’ve read some good things about them, but from the sample pictures I’ve seen they seem to be a way of ruining a well composed picture.
